STRATFORD, Maryellen (nee Bell) - passed away at the St. Peter’s Hospital, Hamilton on Saturday, April 15th, 2023 in her 67th year.  Beloved wife of Laurence Stratford of Simcoe.  Loving mother of Joseph Stratford (Brandi) of Ingersoll.  Cherished grandmother & great grandmother of Michael Wasylyk (Lisa Brown), daughter Evelyn-Marie;  Katie Wasylyk, daughter Lena-Ray; Katrina Walker (Sean);  Mitchell Stratford; and Madison-Jane Stratford.  Maryellen will be lovingly remembered by her siblings Marlene Bell of Simcoe, Sheila Botting (late John) of Simcoe, Elizabeth Bell (Jim) of Delhi, David Bell (Lynnette) of Timmins, Paul Bell (Leah) of Brantford, Doris Morris (Jesse) of Simcoe and Kevin Bell (Julie) of Simcoe.  Maryellen will be sadly missed by many nieces, nephews & extended family.  Predeceased by her parents, the late Allan & Mary Bell.  A private celebration of life will be held on Sunday, May 7th, 2023 for family & friends by invitation only.  The JASON SMITH FUNERAL CHAPEL, 689 Norfolk St. North Simcoe in care of arrangements.  Those wishing to donated in memory of Maryellen are asked to consider the Canadian Cancer Society.  Personal online condolences at www.smithfuneralchapel.com
