LAWRENCE, Robert Dean – it is with great sadness & broken hearts, the Lawrence family announce the passing of our gentle & kind son, brother & uncle, Robert Dean Lawrence.  He took a part of our hearts on Friday, February 24th, 2023 in his 59th year.  Robert was known for helping people and for his love of gardening.  He has left his mother Marlene Slade, his sister Vicki Robbie and his nieces Krista Lawrence (John Rode), Kayla Robbie (Tanner Hie) & Sheena Robbie (Chris Brouwer).  Robert was known as “uncle Gobbie” by his favourite four stooges Tucker & Toby Rode, Jamieson Hie & Evelyn Brouwer.  Friends are invited to share their memories of Robert with his family at the JASON SMITH FUNERAL CHAPEL, 689 Norfolk St. North Simcoe for visitation on Saturday, April 1st, 2023 from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m.  Those wishing to donate in memory of Robert are asked to consider the Simcoe & District Humane Society.  Personal online condolences at www.smithfuneralchapel.com (519) 426-0199
