FRANCIS, Randy Douglas – suddenly at his home in Surrey, B.C. on Tuesday, February 7th, 2023 in his 65th year.  Predeceased by his beloved wife Heather.  Loving father of Doug & Jeff Lessard, both of B.C. and their families.  Cherished son of Jean Francis (late Ron Sr.) of Delhi.  Loving brother of Ron (Ruth) & Rob (Lynn), both of Simcoe.  Randy is survived by his special niece Jennifer Moe of Simcoe.  Lovingly remembered by many other nieces, nephews & their extended families.  Sadly missed by best friends Mike & Mooch.  Predeceased by his step-father Bob Godlowski; and by his siblings Debbie Moe & Rick Francis.  Randy moved to B.C. over 40 years ago.  He was employed at Whistler Water.  His plan was to return to Simcoe this spring to celebrate his 65th birthday and remain in Simcoe where he grew up.  Randy would always greet you with a smile, a handshake or a hug and a laugh that would make you feel right at home.  A private interment of ashes will be held at the family plot in Oakwood Cemetery at a later date.  The JASON SMITH FUNERAL CHAPEL, 689 Norfolk St. North Simcoe in care of arrangements.  In lieu of flowers, those wishing to donate in memory of Randy are asked to consider Campfire Circle – Rainbow Lake, Waterford.  Personal online condolences at www.smithfuneralchapel.com (519) 426-0199
