Death Notices

NUNN, Reta Edna (nee Armstrong) 1928-2023 – passed away at the Norfolk Hospital Nursing Home, Simcoe on Sunday, February 12th, 2023 in her 95th year.  Beloved wife of the late Ernest Nunn (2009).  Loving mother & grandmother of Ernest Jr. (Sandra) of Simcoe, children Paul (Sonja), Chris (Heather) & Angie (Bruce);  Grace McConnell (Gary) of Simcoe, children Gary, Derek (Lisa), Natalie (Jack) & Tracy (Victor);  Mary Pearce (late Ryan) of Waterford, children Andrew (Megan) & John (Hoa);  Larry Nunn (Julie) of Port Dover, children Michelle (Sean), Amy (Jeff) & Jessica;  Lenny Nunn of Delhi; the late Ruth Silverthorn (2004), husband Gord; children Michael (Lori) & Melissa;  and the late Evelyn Smith (2002), husband Keith; children Dana (Sherri), Jason (Sarah) & Katie (Kevin).  Reta will be lovingly remembered by numerous great grandchildren, great great grandchildren and by her sister Joyce Snider.  Sadly missed by many nieces, nephews & extended family.  Predeceased by her sister Betty and by brothers Roy, Orval, Ron, Floyd, Frank, Victor & Fay.  Friends are invited to share their memories of Reta with her family at the JASON SMITH FUNERAL CHAPEL, 689 Norfolk St. North Simcoe for visitation on Tuesday, February 14th, 2023 from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m.  A funeral service will be held in the chapel on Wednesday morning at 11:00 a.m. with her grandson Rev.
