Death Notices

TAYLOR, Gerald Keith – passed away at the Stedman Community Hospice, Brantford on Sunday, February 12th, 2023 in his 89th year.  Beloved husband of the late Saundra (nee Toombs) Taylor (2013).  Loving father & grandfather of Geraldine Taylor (Roy Catarino) of Bloomsburg, children Halle, Brittney & Colin;  Darren Taylor (Erica) of Simcoe, Richard Taylor of Burlington, the late Linda Taylor (2022) and Michael Taylor.  Gerald will be lovingly remembered by his siblings Charlotte Hirtz (late Ken), Kathryn Logan (late Clark / Bob Simpson) and the late Terry Taylor (1983), his wife Norma.  At Gerald's request, a family celebration of life will be held at the cottage in Turkey Point at a later date.  The JASON SMITH FUNERAL CHAPEL, 689 Norfolk St. North Simcoe in care of arrangements.  Those wishing to donate in memory of Gerald are asked to consider the Stedman Community Hospice.  Special thanks to Sarah from CarePartners, ParaMed, the VON and the staff of Stedman Hospice for your wonderful care & compassion during our father’s final days.  Personal online condolences at www.smithfuneralchapel.com
