BROWN, Jean Elliott (nee Hewitt) - passed away at the Norfolk General Hospital, Simcoe on Tuesday, February 7th, 2023 in her 98th year.  Beloved wife of the late Andrew Brown (1998).  Loving mother of Barbara Morden (Robert) of Grimshaw, AB; Doulgas Brown (Lynn) of London; David Brown (Nancy) of Brantford; the late Donald Brown; Bruce Brown (Barbara) of Simcoe and Sharon Barnucz (Michael) of Comox, BC.  Cherished grandmother to Roger (Kathy), Randy, Laurie (Chris), Lisa (Dan), Derek, Shari (Ken), Andrea (Nate), Heather (Mike), Michael (Elise) and Jayson.  Dearly loved great grandmother to numerous great grandchildren.  Jean will be sadly missed by many nieces, nephews & extended family.  Predeceased by her parents, the late Isaac & Annie Hewitt, by her sister Doreen Bell (late Brian) and by brothers Ike Hewitt (late Kay) and Lanny Hewitt.  A private interment of cremated remains will be held at a later date.  The JASON SMITH FUNERAL CHAPEL, 689 Norfolk St. North Simcoe in care of arrangements.  Those wishing to donated in memory of Jean are asked to consider Campfire Circle – Rainbow Lake.  Personal online condolences at www.smithfuneralchapel.com
