PLYLEY, Edward Carlyle – passed away at the St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital on Sunday, November 20th, 2022 in his 84th year.  Beloved husband of the late Shirley (nee Yeo) Plyley (2010).  Loving father and grandfather of Wade Plyley (Cathy) of St. Thomas, their children Erin (Nathan), son Adrian; and Heather Plyley;  Laurie Plyley of Brantford; and Jeffrey Plyley (Deborah) of Simcoe.  Predeceased by his sister Betty Carter.  Lovingly remembered by his special friend Phyllis Lepp and by several nieces, nephews and extended family.  Friends are invited to share their memories of Ed with his family at the JASON SMITH FUNERAL CHAPEL, 689 Norfolk St. North Simcoe for visitation on Friday, November 25th, 2022 from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m.  Ed’s funeral service will be held in the chapel on Saturday afternoon at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Ron Mullin officiating.  Interment:  Greenwood Cemetery, Waterford.  Those wishing to donate in memory of Ed are asked to consider the Alzheimer’s Society of H-N.  Personal online condolences at www.smithfuneralchapel.com (519) 426-0199
