Lisa DEDRICK
Saturday November 19, 2022

DEDRICK, Lisa Ellen (nee McArthur) R.N. - Lisa passed away on Saturday, November 19th, 2022 with her family by her side after a seven year battle with cancer.  She fought with extreme courage, a positive attitude and was thankful for every day.  Beloved wife of Tim Dedrick for 29 years.  Much loved mother of Kyle (Taome) and Ashley (Colton).  Loved daughter of Margaret McArthur and the late David (2020).  Daughter-in-law of Diane Dedrick and the late Dean (1993).  Loving sister of Michael McArthur (Carol) and Sharon Saunders (Todd).  Dear sister-in-law of Tom Dedrick (Vicki).  Doting mother of her many fur friends Sophie, Luna, Opal, Cleo, Zola, Mila, Misty and Susie.  Lisa is survived by many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.  Lisa was a passionate and caring Nurse who started her career in the community before spending many years at the Norfolk Hospital Nursing Home.  From the nursing home she spent some time as Director of Care at Woodingford Lodge in Tillsonburg before returning home and becoming a Care Coordinator and shortly thereafter a Manager with HNHB-CCAC in Simcoe where she loved her job and going to work every day.  The only thing she cared about more was her kids and husband who she loved so much and was so proud of.  Lisa grew up in a sporting family and loved to dance; with that passion continuing with Kyle and Ashley in baseball, hockey and dancing.  Over the years she was very involved and held executive positions with both Simcoe Minor Hockey and Simcoe Minor Baseball where she was still involved.  Lisa’s infectious smile will be dearly missed by all who knew her.  Goodbye for now.  We will never forget you.  Friends are invited to share their memories of Lisa with her family at the JASON SMITH FUNERAL CHAPEL, 689 Norfolk St. North Simcoe for visitation on Wednesday, November 23rd, 2022 from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m.  A funeral service will be held in the chapel on Thursday morning at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Ron Mullin officiating.  Interment:  Oakwood Cemetery, Simcoe.  Those wishing to donate in memory of Lisa are asked to consider the Cancer Support & Resource Program.  Please consider wearing a mask.  Personal online condolences at www.smithfuneralchapel.com (519) 426-0199
