BOWYER, Dr. Bruce Murray (1944-2022) – suddenly at the Norfolk General Hospital, Simcoe on Saturday, October 15th, 2022 in his 79th year.  Beloved husband of Beatrice Bowyer (nee Hailewyn) of Port Dover.  Loving father & grandfather of Dr. Carl Bowyer (Marilyn) of Richards Landing, their children Sarah & Jacob;  the late Brian Bowyer (2017), his children Alex & Breanne;  and Drew Bowyer of Port Dover.  Dearly remembered by his siblings Joyce Wright (Dennis) of Winnipeg, Manitoba and Lyle “Joe” Bowyer (Tricia) of Fort Myers, Florida.  Bruce will be lovingly remembered by several nieces, nephews & extended family.  Predeceased by his parents, the late Maxwell & Edna Bowyer.  Friends are invited to share their memories of Bruce with his family at the JASON SMITH FUNERAL CHAPEL, 689 Norfolk St. North Simcoe for visitation on Saturday, November 5th, 2022 from 1:00 – 4:00 p.m.  Personal reflections will be shared at 2:00 p.m.  A private family interment of ashes will be held at a later date.  Those wishing to donate in memory of Bruce are asked to consider the Long Point Region Conservation Authority (Conservation Education Centre Revitalization Project) on-line at www.lprca.on.ca or by calling (519) 842-4242.  Personal online condolences at www.smithfuneralchapel.com (519) 426-0199
