SHAW, M. Gwenyth (nee Ellis) – passed away at her home in Simcoe on Monday, October 3rd, 2022 in her 93rd year.  Beloved wife of the late Robert Shaw (2013).  Loving mother of Tim Shaw (Christine) of Windham Centre, David Shaw of Manitoba, the late Stephen Shaw (2014), Robin Porritt (Glen) of Bobcaygeon, Penny Sayn (Fred) of Port Rowan, Becky Ewing (Paul), Michael Shaw and Pam Onifrichuk (Brian), all of Simcoe.  Cherished grandmother of 14 grandchildren, great grandmother of 4 & great great grandmother of 1.  Predeceased by her parents, the late Herbert & Jill Ellis and by siblings Valerie Taylor & Richard Ellis.  Friends are invited to share their memories of Gwen with her family at the JASON SMITH FUNERAL CHAPEL, 689 Norfolk St. North Simcoe for visitation on Wednesday, October 5th, 2022 from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m.  A private family interment of ashes will be held at Oakwood Cemetery at a later date.  Those wishing to donate in memory of Gwen are asked to consider the Canadian Cancer Society or the Simcoe & District Humane Society.  Personal online condolences at www.smithfuneralchapel.com (519) 426-0199
