ALEXANDER, Rupert Davis “Mike” – surrounded by his loving family, at his home on Saturday, August 13th, 2022 in his 61st year.  Beloved husband of Christine Alexander (nee Warrell) of Renton.  Loving father of Chealsie Turton (Chris) and Bryton Alexander (Breann Irwin).  Cherished Pappy to Olivia & Axl Turton.  Dear brother to Nancy Alexander (Gary Rooney), Nita Palmer (late John), Deneen Alexander, Tracy Alexander (Chris Patterson), Dawn Rooney (Dave Duffin), the late Toni Alexander, Kevan Alexander, Dean Alexander (Linda) and brother-in-law to Fidele Tremblay.  Lovingly remembered by Christine’s family, her mother Margaret Bath, her sister Janice Slyzys (Henry) and brother Gord Bath (Andrea).  Mike will be sadly missed by many nieces, nephews, extended family and by his 4 legged friends Lilly, Loki, Bauer, Bella, Odin & Rosie.  Mike was an amazing father who always put his family first, he loved a nice glass of wine with his wife or beers with his buds at the local bar.  Being from the Gaspe coast, he loved fresh caught seafood.  You could find Mike out in the woods every morning with his dogs just to let them run free.  Mike was a talented driller who worked all over the country, most recently working for Kirkland Lake Gold at the Detour Mine Site north of Cochrane, ON.  Friends are invited to share their memories of Mike with his family at the JASON SMITH FUNERAL CHAPEL, 689 Norfolk St. North Simcoe for visitation on Friday, August 19th, 2022 from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m.  A memorial service will follow in the chapel at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Ron Mullin officiating.  Those wishing to donate in memory of Mike are asked to consider the Brantford General Hospital - Cancer Clinic.  The family wish to extended special thanks to Dr. Lee and the nursing staff at the Brantford General Cancer Clinic and to RPN Natasha Nethercott for their wonderful care & compassion during Mike’s illness.  Thank you all so very much.  Personal online condolences at www.smithfuneralchapel.com (519) 426-0199
