THOMPSON, Dorothy Rose (nee Scheel) - passed away at the Norfolk Hospital Nursing Home, Simcoe on Monday, August 8th, 2022 in her 93rd year.  Beloved wife of the late Lee Thompson (2012).  Loving mother of Linda Noss (Earl), Doug Thompson (Cathy), all of Simcoe and the late Roy Thompson (Sue) of Delhi.  Cherished grandmother & great grandmother of David Noss (Karen), son Brandon;  Brenda Noss, children Bobby & Brittany;  Wesley Thompson (Rosie), children Carver, Archer & Parks;  Hailey Near (Kevin), children Caleb, Emily & Kaitlyn;  Troy Thompson (Joelle), son Reid;  and Jody Thompson (Nancy), daughter Emily.  Sadly missed by nieces, nephews & extended family.  Predeceased by her brothers Andy, Fred, Fritz, John & Mike.  A private family visitation will be held at the JASON SMITH FUNERAL CHAPEL, 689 Norfolk St. North Simcoe N3Y 3R3.  Private interment of ashes:  Oakwood Cemetery at a later date.  Those wishing to donate in memory of Dorothy are asked to consider the Alzheimer’s Society of H-N.  Personal online condolences at www.smithfuneralchapel.com (519) 426-0199
