SAYBAN, Mary Margaret (1930-2022) – suddenly went to be with her Lord on Friday, June 17th, 2022 at the age of 91 at her home in Simcoe, ON.  Mary is survived by her dedicated husband Michael Gallo, her four beloved children Barbara Summers (Joe Lea), Dennis Hrycun (Brenda West), Diane Gallo (Tony), and Christine Hrycun (the late Tozé Lopes, 2016). Forever cherished by her grandchildren Jeremy Kull (Annie), Rebecca Summers (Ara), Katie Hrycun (Cameron), Erika Hrycun (Matthew), Miranda Gallo, and Angela Gallo (Benedict). From heaven above, she is watching over her five great-grandchildren Somaiya, Maggie, George, William, and Baby on the Way.  Predeceased by an infant son Robert Hrycun and her first husband Alexander Hrycun.  Mary is remembered for her love of sewing, quilting, cooking, gardening and reading.  Founder of the Simcoe Al-Anon (1977), she was a rock in her community and would selflessly help anyone in need.  Above all else, Mary is remembered for her unwavering love and devotion to God and her Calvary Church community.  She was proud to be born in Kapuskasing, ON to kind, hard-working Slovak immigrants Stephan and Suzanne Sajban.  Friends are invited to share their memories of Mary with her family at the JASON SMITH FUNERAL CHAPEL, 689 Norfolk St. North Simcoe on Wednesday, June 22nd, 2022 from 3:00 – 6:00 p.m.  Mary’s funeral service will be held from Calvary Pentecostal Church, 509 Ireland Rd. Simcoe on Thursday morning at 10:30 a.m. with Pastor Ward Taylor officiating.  Interment:  Walsh United Cemetery.  Those wishing to donate in memory of Mary are asked to consider the Heart & Stroke Foundation or Calvary Pentecostal Church.
