SCHEFFER, Suzanne - it is with profound sadness that the family of Suzanne Scheffer of Vittoria announce her passing.  She peacefully passed away at Norfolk General Hospital, Simcoe on Monday June 13th, 2022, in her 73rd year.  She will be lovingly remembered by her children Brian Vanhoutteghem of St. Williams, Darlene Jones of Dawson Creek, BC, and Eric Mayo (Jodie) of Simcoe.  Cherished grandmother of Victoria and Cole, and honorary granddaughter Michelle.  Beloved sister of Pearl DePrez (Raoul) of Oliver, BC and Laszlo Scheffer (Barb) of Edmonton, AB.  Also survived by several nieces and nephews, cousins and friends. Suzanne will also be missed by her faithful dog Babe.  Daughter of the late John and Mary Scheffer, Suzanne was also predeceased by her sister Martha Szabo (Ernie) and nephew Yancy DePrez.  A Celebration of Life gathering will be held at the Delhi Friendship Centre, 418 Queen St. Delhi, Ontario on Friday, June 24th, 2022, from 4pm-6pm.  For those wishing to make a donation in her memory, please consider the Canadian Cancer Society.  The family wishes to send a special thank you to the staff at Norfolk General Hospital for their care and compassion shown during her stay.  The JASON SMITH FUNERAL CHAPEL, 689 Norfolk St. North Simcoe in care of arrangements.  Personal online condolences at www.smithfuneralchapel.com
