MATTHEWS, Carol Kathleen (nee Cunningham) 1928-2022 – surrounded by her loving family at the Norview Lodge Nursing Home, Simcoe on Monday, June 6th, 2022 in her 94th year.  Beloved wife of the late Ivan Matthews (1996).  Loving mother of the late Bonnie Hrehorsky (2019), the late Wendy Wittet (2020), Scott Matthews (late Jan) of Windham Centre, Vicky Gilbert of Simcoe, Greg Matthews (Sonia) of Simcoe and Mark Matthews (Wanda) of Windham Centre.  Cherished grandmother of Amy Toon (John), Jacqueline Lechowicz (Eugene), Vanessa Irwin (Donny), Leah DeMeester (Adam), Cori Welsh (late Mason), Josh, Todd, Cari-Jane Gordon (Steve), Eliyse Shrubb (Corey Gunn), MacKenzie Matthews, Ty, Aaron & Alanna.  Carol will be dearly missed by many great grandchildren and by Ivan’s sister Velma Clarke.  Friends are invited to share their memories of Carol with her family at the JASON SMITH FUNERAL CHAPEL, 689 Norfolk St. North Simcoe N3Y 3R3 for visitation on Monday, June 13th, 2022 from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m.  A memorial service will follow visitation in the chapel at 11:00 a.m. with Rev.
