COWAN, Cynthia Jean (nee Lloyd) – surrounded by her loving family at the Norfolk General Hospital, Simcoe on Saturday, May 28th, 2022 in her 88th year.  Beloved wife of 65+ years to Roy Cowan of Simcoe.  Loving mother & grandmother of Allan Cowan of Strathmore, AB, sons Matthew & Cody, Wayne Cowan of Simcoe, children Trevor (Keri) & Tara; Scott Cowan (Martha) of Delhi, children Andrew & David (Renee), Susie Armstrong (Steven) of Delhi and the late Jeff Cowan (2021), his wife Wendy of Simcoe, children Justin & Sarah.  Lovingly remembered by several great grandchildren.  Cynthia served for over 30 years with the St. John Ambulance.  Friends are invited to share their memories of Cynthia with her family at the JASON SMITH FUNERAL CHAPEL, 689 Norfolk St. North Simcoe N3Y 3R3 for visitation on Wednesday, June 1st, 2022 from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m.  A funeral service will be held in the chapel on Thursday morning at 10:00 a.m.  Interment:  Walsh United Cemetery.  Those wishing to donate in memory of Cynthia are asked to consider Bethel Baptist Church or Purrfect Companions.
