Death Notices

FOURNIER, Marc (1960 - 2022) – surrounded by his loving family at the Norfolk General Hospital, Simcoe on Monday, May 23rd, 2022 in his 63rd year.  Beloved husband of Margot Fournier (nee Savory) of Waterford.  Cherished father of Eric Fournier (Tracy) of Waterford, Tim Fournier (Kayla Cavanagh) of Calgary and Kevin Fournier (Courtney Lingaitis) of Kincardine.  Marc will be sadly missed by his sisters Colette Villemaire of Ottawa, Roberte Desroches (Daniel) of Cornwall, Monique Fournier (Richard Giguere) of Montreal and by brothers Gaeten Fournier (Gisele) of Sturgeon Falls and the late Julien Fournier (Lorraine) of Cornwall.  Marc will be lovingly remembered by Margot’s mother Norma Savory of Simcoe and by siblings Paul Savory (Deb) and Jeff Savory (Chris).  Friends are invited to share their memories of Marc with his family at the JASON SMITH FUNERAL CHAPEL, 689 Norfolk St. North Simcoe N3Y 3R3 for visitation on Saturday, May 28th, 2022 from 12 noon – 1:00 p.m.  A memorial service will follow in the chapel at 1:00 p.m. with Rev.
