DARGIE, Barbara Claire (nee Ferguson) 1930-2022 - promoted to the loving arms of her Lord & Saviour at the Norfolk Hospital Nursing Home, Simcoe on Tuesday, May 10th, 2022 in her 93rd year.  Beloved wife of the late Robert “Bob” Dargie (2005).  Loving mother of Brian Dargie (Emily), Diane Stewart (Terry), Lisa Anema (Ray), all of Simcoe and Dana Dargie (Michele) of Port Rowan.  Cherished grandmother & great grandmother of Rob (Alisha), children Adele, Brendan & Jackson;  Jordan (fiancé Tabitha), children Charley & Blair;  Brynley (Natalie), daughter Belle;  Courtney (Ashley), child River;  Whitney;  Gabrielle (Tea), children Adelaide & Arya;  Brandon (Jess), children Ethan & Adrian;  Christopher (Stephanie), children Gracie & Henrik;  Janaeya (Matt), children Kylie, Kya, Kurtis & Keisha;  and Joshua.  Barbara will be lovingly remembered by nieces, nephews & extended family.  Predeceased by her siblings Bernice Finlayson (late Donald), Harvey Ferguson (late Helen) and Donald Ferguson.  Barbara was a long-time member of First Baptist Church, Simcoe.  She had a great sense of humour and saw the best in everyone.  The family wishes to extend a thank you to the staff at the Norfolk Hospital Nursing Home for their compassionate and understanding care, guidance and support.  Friends are invited to share their memories of Barb with her family at the JASON SMITH FUNERAL CHAPEL, 689 Norfolk St. North Simcoe N3Y 3R3 for visitation on Monday, May 16th, 2022 from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m.  Barb’s funeral service will be held in the chapel on Tuesday morning at 11:00 a.m. with Pastors Brian Dargie & Marc Bertrand officiating.  Interment:  Oakwood Cemetery.  Those wishing to donate in memory of Barb are asked to consider Operation Eyesight Univeral - Sunrise Rotary.  Personal online condolences at www.smithfuneralchapel.com  (519) 426-0199
