SMATANA, Shirley Norma (nee Palmerton) - passed away at the Norview Lodge, Simcoe on Tuesday, May 3rd, 2022 in her 92nd year.  Predeceased by her beloved husband Walter Smatana (2004).  Loving sister of George Palmerton (Joanne) of Simcoe.  Predeceased by her siblings Lois Ohland (late Harvey) and William Palmerton (late Victoria).  Shirley will be lovingly remembered by nieces, nephews & extended family.  A private family graveside service will be held at Woodhouse United Cemetery.  Arrangements entrusted to the JASON SMITH FUNERAL CHAPEL, 689 Norfolk St. North Simcoe N3Y 3R3.  Those wishing to donate in memory of Shirley are asked to consider a charity of one’s choice.  Donations may be mailed to the Jason Smith Funeral Chapel.  Personal online condolences at www.smithfuneralchapel.com (519) 426-0199
