HAINING, Gordon Leslie – passed away at the Norfolk Hospital Nursing Home, Simcoe on Monday, May 2nd, 2022 in his 85th year.  Beloved husband of Sharon Haining (nee Seburn) of Simcoe.  Loving father of Daryl Haining (Teresa) of Dunnville and Randy Haining (Lorna) of Castor Centre.  Cherished grandfather & great grandfather of Trevor (Allison), children Addison & Genevieve;  Amy Haining, children Korwin & Kiptin;  Brett;  Joshuah (Karly), children Everly & Wyatt; and the late Kyle Marie.  Predeceased by his sisters Jessie Staples, Mary Lou Pastor and by brothers Fred & Robert Haining.  A private family celebration of life will be held at a later date.  Private interment:  Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Stoney Creek.  The JASON SMITH FUNERAL CHAPEL, 689 Norfolk St. North Simcoe N3Y 3R3 in care of arrangements.  Those wishing to donate in memory of Gord are asked to consider the Heart & Stroke Foundation.  Personal online condolences at www.smithfuneralchapel.com (519) 426-0199
