SUKUPCAK, Annie – it is with great sadness that the family of Annie Sukupcak, born October 11th, 1942, in Castkov, Czechoslovakia to George Sukupcak (1977) and Anna Sukupcak (nee Cernek – 2012), passed away at her home, Cedarwood Village, Simcoe, Ontario on April 8th, 2022.  In passing, we know that Annie will be blessed being reunited with her beloved mother.  She is survived by her two sisters, Emily Kupi (Abel) of Simcoe and Linda Burberry (Stewart) of Sarnia;  her nieces, Christine, Kathy, Debra and Jennifer; nephews Victor, Mark and Thom, several grandnieces, grandnephews, and great-grand nieces and one great grandnephew.  Annie is also survived by her long-time companion, Ron Steeper of Simcoe, with whom she spent many a day visiting together, and for whom she cared deeply.  Annie was many things in life:  a daughter, sister, aunt, great aunt, friend and companion of many.  Annie was a lover of music, movies, drawing, and if there was a dance floor, she was the first on it.  Annie was a devout member and worshiper at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church in Simcoe, where she will be remembered for her kindness.  Friends are invited to share their memories of Annie with her family at the JASON SMITH FUNERAL CHAPEL, 689 Norfolk St. North Simcoe N3Y 3R3 for visitation on Tuesday, April 12th, 2022 from 9:00 – 10:00 a.m.  Annie’s funeral service will follow at in the chapel at 10:00 a.m. with Pastor Dan Abraham officiating.  Interment:  Oakwood Cemetery, Simcoe.  Those wishing to donate in memory of Annie are asked to consider Community Living Access Support Services (CLASS) or St. Peter’s Lutheran Church.  Personal online condolences at www.smithfuneralchapel.com (519) 426-0199
