McLELLAN, William Robert Gilbert “Bill” (1927-2022)  - passed away at the Dover Cliffs Nursing Home on Tuesday, March 29th, 2022 in his 95th year. Loving father of Gary McLellan (Dale) of Port Dover, David McLellan (Tracy) of Simcoe and Mary Elizabeth Dreyer (Aris) of Simcoe.  Cherished grandfather & great grandfather of Stephanie Macdonald (Shaun Snow), children Taylor & Jamie; Amy Williams (Dustin); Keeley McLellan, children Nixon & Kinsley; the late Jason McLellan (2010); Kaela McLellan (Shayne Whiting), children Jaydon, Zander & Quinten;  Michelle Dreyer (Chris Findlay), daughter Charlotte; and Christopher Dreyer, children Ciara, Alexzander, Gabrielle, Hunter & Arianna.  Predeceased by his parents Cecil and May McLellan, his sister Patricia McLellan and by brothers Donald & John McLellan. Bill had a passion for coins and was a longstanding member and Past President of the Brantford Numismatic Society. He enjoyed working as a Wonder Bread Salesman and retired as a custodian for the Norfolk Board of Education.  Friends are invited to share their memories of Bill with his family at the JASON SMITH FUNERAL CHAPEL, 689 Norfolk St. North Simcoe for visitation on Thursday, March 31st, 2022 from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m.  Bill’s funeral service will be held in the chapel on Friday morning at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Ron Mullin officiating.  Interment: Greenwood Cemetery, Waterford.  Those wishing to donate in memory of Bill are asked to consider the Heart & Stroke Foundation or the Canadian Diabetes Association.  Personal online condolences at www.smithfuneralchapel.com (519) 426-0199
