FLEG, Gordon Edward “Ted” (1946-2022) – passed away at the Norfolk General Hospital, Simcoe on Thursday, March 17th, 2022 in his 76th year.  Beloved husband of Carol Fleg (nee Henderson) of Simcoe.  Loving father & grandfather of Donna Wingrove (Shane) of Simcoe, sons Cody & Brett;  and Cheryl Valingo (Larry) of Pennsylvania, daughter Natisha.  Dear brother of Dianne Thompson (late Bruce) of Calgary, Sharon Joanisse (late Marcel) of Hamilton, Janet Marechal (John) of Townsend and the late Allen Fleg (Nancy) of Hamilton.  Lovingly remembered by nieces, nephews & extended family.  Ted was an avid golfer, a volunteer for the Simcoe & District Humane Society and a former employee of Stelco Hilton Work, retiring from Stelco Lake Erie Works.  Friends are invited to share their memories of Ted with his family at the JASON SMITH FUNERAL CHAPEL, 689 Norfolk St. North Simcoe N3Y 3R3 for visitation of Monday, March 21st, 2022 from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m.  A private family funeral service will be held in the chapel with Pastor Ron Mullin officiating.  Private interment: White Chapel Memorial Gardens, Hamilton at a later date.  Those wishing to donate in memory of Ted are asked to consider the Alzheimer’s Society of H-N or the Simcoe & District Humane Society.  Personal online condolences at www.smithfuneralchapel.com (519) 426-0199
