Death Notices

LEYLAND, Mark Anthony 1951-2022 - passed away at the Norfolk General Hospital, Simcoe on Monday, March 7th, 2022 in his 71st year.  Beloved husband of the late Janie (nee Pritchard) Leyland (2013).  Loving son of Muriel Leyland (late Robert).  Cherished father & grandfather of Vanessa Webb (Sean) of Simcoe, children Sydney & Avery;  and Lucas Leyland (Jenn) of Fisherville, children Ryver, Memphis & Tymber.  Mark will be lovingly remembered by his siblings Sharon Archer (Brian) of Caledonia, Stephen Leyland (Patsy) of Ottawa, Robert Leyland (Marjorie) of London and Jeff Leyland (Rena) of Caledonia.  Sadly missed by nieces, nephews & extended family.  Friends are invited to share their memories of Mark with his family at the JASON SMITH FUNERAL CHAPEL, 689 Norfolk St. North Simcoe N3Y 3R3 for visitation on Saturday, March 12th, 2022 from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m.  A memorial service will follow in the chapel at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Kevin Babbey officiating.  Those wishing to donate in memory of Mark are asked to consider First Baptist Church, Delhi or Galcom International.  (A charitable organization providing technical equipment for communicating the Gospel worldwide).  Personal online condolences at www.smithfuneralchapel.com (519) 426-0199
