Death Notices

CORREIA, Luis Manuel – suddenly at his home on Wednesday, January 26th, 2022 in his 56th year.  Beloved son of Maria Correia (late Manuel – 2002) of Simcoe.  Loving brother of Maria N. Fernandes (late Manuel), Zilia Almeida (Eugenio), Maria F. Pereira (Luciano), Pedro Correia (Armanda), all of Simcoe;  Manuel Correia (Maria) of Portugal and Antonio Correia of Hamilton.  Luis will be sadly missed by many nieces, nephews & extended family.  Predeceased by his sister Julia Correia (1987).  A private funeral “by invitation only” will be held at St. Mary’s Roman Catholic Church, 211 Union St. Simcoe with interment to follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery.  The JASON SMITH FUNERAL CHAPEL, 689 Norfolk St. North Simcoe N3Y 3R3 in care of arrangements.  Those wishing to donate in memory of Luis are asked to consider a charity of one’s choice.  Donations may be mailed to the Jason Smith Funeral Chapel.  Personal online condolences at www.smithfuneralchapel.com (519) 426-0199
