Death Notices

HANNA, Joyce Maxine (nee Churchill) – passed away at the Norview Lodge Nursing Home, Simcoe on Monday, November 29th, 2021 in her 87th year.  Predeceased by her beloved husband William Hanna (2014).   Cherished mother of Donald Hanna (Rebecca) of Greens Corners.  Loving grandmother of Jennifer Hanna (Gordon Smiley), her daughter Bethany Mehlenbacher and the late Corrie Hanna-Best (2018), her children Quinton & Sadie Best.  Predeceased by her sister Marion Boughner (2012).  A private family interment of ashes will be held at a later date.  Those wishing to donate in memory of Joyce are asked to consider the Norview Lodge Long Term Care.  Donations may be mailed to the JASON SMITH FUNERAL CHAPEL, 689 Norfolk St. North Simcoe N3Y 3R3.  Special thanks to the staff of Norview Lodge for their loving care shown to our mother.  Personal online condolences at www.smithfuneralchapel.com  (519) 426-0199
