HUFFMAN, George Elmer – peacefully at home on Sunday, November 7th, 2021 at the age of 88.  Beloved husband of 68+ years to Lillian Huffman (nee Baguley) of Simcoe.  Devoted & loving father of Jean Huffman of Simcoe, Joyce Moore (Bill) of Villa Nova, their children Evan (Donna) and Eric (Kate);  Karen Kukielka (Henry) of Vanessa, their children Ryan (Alexis), great grandchildren Austin, Jason & Fiona;  Alicia White (Eric), great grandchildren Elliott & Charlotte;  and Kathryn Skalecki (Stan) of Kirkland Lake, their children Scott (Roxanne) and Sabrina.  George was the youngest child of the late Earl & Josephine Huffman.  George retired from Massey Ferguson, Brantford.  He loved farming and butchering with his Dad in his younger years and market gardening until he retired to Simcoe.  A private family visitation & service will be held at the JASON SMITH FUNERAL CHAPEL, 689 Norfolk St. North Simcoe N3Y 3R3 with Pastor Peggy Bartlett officiating.  Interment:  Greenwood Cemetery, Waterford.  Those wishing to donate in memory of George are asked to consider a charity of one’s choice.  Donations may be mailed to the funeral home.  Personal online condolences at www.smithfuneralchapel.com (519) 426-0199
