PARNELL, Earl James "Jim" - passed away at the Hamilton General Hospital, on Thursday, October 28th, 2021 in his 79th year.  Beloved husband of Kay Louise Parnell (nee Hicks) of Simcoe.  Loving father of Debbie Parnell (Doug Hunt) of Simcoe, Brenda Parnell (Bill Blythe) of Milton and Jim Parnell of Milton.  Cherished grandfather of Jeff Watson (Lindsay) and Erin Hunt.  Dear great-grandfather of Lincoln, Jayla and Halle.  A special thank you to the Doctors and Nurses at Norfolk General Hospital and Hamilton General Hospital for their compassionate care.  Friends are invited to share their memories of Jim with his family at the JASON SMITH FUNERAL CHAPEL, 689 Norfolk St. North Simcoe N3Y 3R3 on Saturday, November 13th, 2021 for a celebration of life gathering from 1:00 – 3:00 p.m. with a brief eulogy at 1:00 p.m.  Facial coverings & social distancing required.  Those wishing to donate in memory of Jim are asked to consider the Heart & Stroke Foundation, the Norfolk General Hospital, the Hamilton General Hospital or the Mark Preece Family House, Hamilton.  Personal online condolences at www.smithfuneralchapel.com (519) 426-0199
