SZACH, Martha Louise (nee LaForge) 1942 - 2021 – surrounded by her loving family at her home on Sunday, September 12th, 2021 in her 80th year.  Beloved wife of Walter Szach of Simcoe.  Loving mother of Jefferey Szach (Lisa-Ann Laforme) of Glencoe;  Jenny Thomson (Brian) of Verschoyle and Joseph Szach (Linda) of Ingersoll.  Cherished grandmother & great grandmother of Deidre (Aaron), children Keyan & Alyssa;  Kristin (Candice);  Samantha Lee;  Michelle (Rob), daughter Mary;  Cody (Carlee); and Jesse.  Dear sister of Gwen Learn (late Arlo) of Cranbrooke, B.C., Iris Owen (late Paul) of Prince George, Sylvia LaForge of Sicamous, Lela New of Salmonarm and Dick LaForge of Sicamous.  Lovingly remembered by nieces, nephews and extended family.  Predeceased by siblings Huey, Robert, Clifford & Violet.  Friends are invited to share their memories of Martha with her family at the JASON SMITH FUNERAL CHAPEL, 689 Norfolk St. North Simcoe N3Y 3R3 for visitation on Wednesday, September 15th, 2021 from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m.  A private family funeral service “by invitation only” with be held with Pastor Ron Mullin officiating.  Interment:  St. Mary’s Cemetery, Simcoe.  Those wishing to donate in memory of Martha are asked to consider the Cancer Support & Resource Program or the Cedar Street Community Church.  Personal online condolences at www.smithfuneralchapel.com (519) 426-0199
