SANTOS, Maria da Piedade (1928-2021) – surrounded by her loving family at the Norfolk General Hospital, Simcoe on Saturday, September 4th, 2021 in her 94th year.  Beloved wife of the late Antonio Correia Santos (1999).  Loving mother of Adelaide Pais (Antonio), Antonio Santos (Cristina), Maria Yarek (Mike) and George Santos (Anita), all of Simcoe.  Cherished grandmother & great grandmother of the late Jean Pais (Carlos DeSilva), children Phillip & Sofia;  Elizabeth Pais (Jim), Roger Pais, Nancy VanGalen (Trevor), daughter Vanessa;  Nelson Santos (Eva), children Nevaeh & Mason;  Michael, Matthew, Mark & Mercedes Yarek;  Veronica  Santos (fiancé Stephen), Victoria Santos & George Santos Jr.  Predeceased by siblings Arminda Borges-Simoes (late Jose), Piedade Ferreira (Manuel), Ivo (late Adelaide), Manuel (late Zilia) and Antonio Borges (Marie Josephina).  Sadly missed by many nieces, nephews and extended family.  Due to covid restrictions, a private family visitation will be held at the JASON SMITH FUNERAL CHAPEL, 689 Norfolk St. North Simcoe N3Y 3R3.  A private family mass will take place at St. Mary’s Roman Catholic Church, Simcoe with Rev. Fr.
