Death Notices

SCHWEYER, Jean Isabel (nee Sanderson) of Simcoe passed away at Norview Lodge, Simcoe on Sunday, August 22, 2021 in her 95th year.  Beloved wife of the Late Harold Schweyer who predeceased her in 2013.  Loving mother of Rick Schweyer of Simcoe and Robert Schweyer (Pattie) of Tara.  Also survived by 3 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.  Predeceased by one brother Donald Sanderson (1993).  The family would like to thank the “Maple Crescent” staff at Norview for their excellent care and compassion.  A private interment of ashes will take place at Oakwood Cemetery at a later date.  Those wishing to donate in memory of Jean are asked to consider the Norview Lodge or St. Peter’s Lutheran Church, Simcoe.  Donations may be mailed to the JASON SMITH FUNERAL CHAPEL, 689 Norfolk St. North Simcoe N3Y 3R3.  Personal online condolences at www.smithfuneralchapel.com  (519) 426-0199
