Death Notices

ROWCLIFFE, Audrey Vera (nee Sadler) – passed away at the Cedarwood Village Nursing Home, Simcoe on Tuesday, May 4th, 2021 in her 102nd year.  Beloved wife of the late Hugh Rowcliffe (2015).  Loving mother of Perry Rowcliffe (Cathy) of Burlington and Randy Rowcliffe of Simcoe.  Cherished grandmother of Sara (Hieu), their children Caelan & Gibson; and Megan (Mike), son Cuan.  Audrey will be lovingly remembered by her sister Verna Roy (late Al) of Cambridge and by nieces, nephews and extended family.  Predeceased by her parents, the late Earl & Florence (nee Platt) Sadler;  and by siblings Thelma Wilton (Doug), Dorothy Anthony (George), Willis Sadler (Rita) and Dalton Sadler.  Due to covid restrictions, a private family service will be held with interment of ashes at Oakwood Cemetery, Simcoe.  Special thanks to the staff of Cedarwood Village for their wonderful care & compassion during Audrey’s stay.  Those wishing to donate in memory of Audrey are asked to consider the Cedarwood Village Nursing Home.  Donations may be mailed to the JASON SMITH FUNERAL CHAPEL, 689 Norfolk St. North Simcoe N3Y 3R3.  Personal online condolences at www.smithfuneralchapel.com  (519) 426-0199
