LEES, Catherine Elizabeth “Betty” (nee Himmen) – passed away at the Norfolk General Hospital, Simcoe on Wednesday, April 21st, 2021 in her 93rd year.  Beloved wife of the late Harry Lees (1994).  Cherished mother of David Lees of Simcoe and Bob Lees of Brantford, his children Russell & Sarah.  Sadly missed by her niece Patricia Gomez (Brennan) of Stoney Creek, their children Dana, Kyle & Jenna.  Betty will be lovingly remembered by her extended family.  Predeceased by her parents, the late Jacob (1956) & Catherine (1975) Himmen and by siblings Wilfred Himmen (2003), Marion Himmen (2009) and sister-in-law Marie Himmen (2021).  Due to covid restrictions, a private family visitation & service will be held at the JASON SMITH FUNERAL CHAPEL, 689 Norfolk St. North Simcoe N3Y 3R3.  Private interment of ashes:  St. Mary’s Cemetery at a later date.  Those wishing to donate in memory of Betty are asked to consider the Norfolk Association for Community Living.
