Death Notices

SPOURS, Keith – Surrounded by his loving family, at his home on January 26th, 2021 in his 67th year. Dearest husband of Valerie of 48 years. Amazing Dad & Loving grandfather “Bernard” of Keith Spours (Michelle) of Virginia, their children Gavin & Keegan; and Klair Overdevest (Frank) of Waterford, their children Cayden & Madison.  Keith will be sadly missed by his brothers Ron Spours (Sue) and Ian Spours of England. Lovingly remembered by Uncle Chris Taylor (Isabel) of Brampton, and many cousins, nieces, nephews, extended family, caring friends, & neighbours.  Keith enjoyed spending time outdoors and was a Retiree of Stelco (LEW).  A special thanks to Dr. Fraser & the team at Juravinski Hospital and local community nurses for their care and support.  A private Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.  Those wishing to donate in memory of Keith are asked to consider the Cancer Assistance Program (www.cancerassist.ca) or a charity of your choice.  Donations may be mailed to the JASON SMITH FUNERAL CHAPEL, 689 Norfolk St. N.
