Death Notices

REANEY, Richard “Rick” -  passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, August 29th, 2020, at 61 years of age.  He was survived by beloved wife and life partner MaryAnn, children Amanda (Mark) and Melisa.  Siblings; Keith, Paul, Brian.  In Laws; Dwayne (Jenn) Bill (Sherry) Barb (Eric), and Penny.  He was an Uncle and best friend to Logan, Kendra, Rebecca, Brandon, Chelsey, Tara, Alisha, with many nieces and nephews.  Rick was predeceased by his mother Marion and Father Al, siblings; Roy, Stacey, Debbie, and his nephew Dwayne.  Rick was born on September 14th, 1958.  He dedicated most of his life to raising his children.  When he wasn’t being actively involved with his kids, their friends, and his nieces and nephews, he would be found helping whoever he thought needed it most. He was well known for his friendly, loving nature.  Rick was everyone’s biggest fan.  He had a huge heart; a knack for providing hope and showing people how to believe in themselves.  His positive attitude will be deeply missed by everyone who knew him.  With Ricks wishes, no funeral arrangements will be made.  The family would appreciate space during this difficult time and will hold a celebration of life for close friends and family at a later date.  Arrangements entrusted to the JASON SMITH FUNERAL CHAPEL, 689 Norfolk St. North Simcoe.  Personal online condolences at www.smithfuneralchapel.com (519) 426-0199
