Death Notices

HUNT, Betty Dorothy (nee Crowhurst) – passed away at her home on Friday, August 28th, 2020 in her 93rd year.  Betty is the grand-daughter of Thomas J. Williams (1949) who served in the Royal Navy in both of the World Wars and his wife Florence M. Williams (Hare) (1966).  She was the daughter of Dorothy M. Crowhurst (Hare) (1976) and Richard Crowhurst.  Beloved wife of the late Daniel Hunt (1988).  Loving mother of Dale Hunt (Robert Wolski) of Port Dover, Danny Hunt (Bev) of Delhi, Donna L’Heureux (Wayne) of Simcoe, Diane Kiss (Dave) of Tillsonburg, Debby Earls (Jeff) of Simcoe and Darlene Hunt of Simcoe.  Lovingly remembered by many grand-children & great grand-children.  She will be fondly remembered for her young spirit and endless enthusiasm for all tasks and adventures.  A private family interment of ashes will be held at Bethel Methodist Cemetery at a later date.  Arrangements entrusted to the JASON SMITH FUNERAL CHAPEL, 689 Norfolk St. North Simcoe.  Those wishing to donate in memory of Betty are asked to consider the Simcoe & District Humane Society.  Personal online condolences at www.smithfuneralchapel.com (519) 426-0199
