McLEOD, Donald Allen – passed away at his home in Lynedoch on Sunday, July 12th, 2020 in his 61st year.  Beloved husband of the late Heather (nee Cumming) McLeod (2015).  Cherished son of Donna McLeod (late Donald) of Port Dover.  Loving father of Taryn Power (David) of Cambridge, their children Shay & Brynlee;  Tessa McLeod (Nathan Pirie) of Cambridge and Greg McLeod of Ottawa.  Donald will be sadly missed by his siblings Leasa McLeod-Page (Tim) of Hamilton and Michael McLeod (Helen) of Edmonton.  Lovingly remembered by nieces, nephews extended family and by his 4 legged friends Chewy, Leroy, Kash & Raven.  Don had a great passion for family, golf and animals. He enjoyed the outdoors including hunting and fishing.  In the early morning you would find Don, coffee in hand, walking his pack.  Don had a great sense of humor and a booming laugh.  He was authentic, reliable and a rock to those he loved.  More than anything, Don loved being a Dad and a Grandpa.  A private family visitation & service will be held at the JASON SMITH FUNERAL CHAPEL, 689 Norfolk St. North Simcoe N3Y 3R3.  Private interment of ashes:  Evergreen Cemetery, Lynedoch at a later date.  Those wishing to donate in memory of Donald are asked to consider the Simcoe & District Humane Society.  Personal online condolences at www.smithfuneralchapel.com (519) 426-0199
