Death Notices

PEART, Ellen Elizabeth (nee Hoover) – passed away at her home in Walsh on Tuesday, June 9th, 2020 in her 76th year.  Beloved wife of Murray Peart of Walsh.  Loving mother & grandmother of Michael Peart of Toronto, children Meaghan, Raine & Liam;  Joanne Howlader of Mississauga, children Jeffrey & Jamal;  and Jim Peart (Tammy) of Simcoe, daughter Amber.  Ellen will be lovingly remembered by her siblings Ann Payne (Bud) of BC, Harry Hoover (Pat) of St. Thomas, Paul Hoover (Shirley) of Simcoe, Jay Hoover (Carol) of Simcoe, and Dick Hoover (Ann) of Hamilton.  Ellen will be sadly missed by her brother-in-law Ray Mummery of Port Dover and by many nieces, nephews & extended family.  Predeceased by her sister Jane Mummery & brother Bob Hoover (Sandy).  A private family interment of ashes will be held at a later date.  Arrangements entrusted to the JASON SMITH FUNERAL CHAPEL, 689 Norfolk St. North Simcoe N3Y 3R3.  Those wishing to donate in memory of Ellen are asked to consider the Ontario Lung Association.  Personal online condolences at www.smithfuneralchapel.com (519) 426-0199
