McALPINE, Kenneth David (1936 - 2020) – passed away at the Norview Lodge Nursing Home, Simcoe on Monday, May 25th, 2020 in his 84th year.  Beloved husband of Elsie (nee Almas) McAlpine of Simcoe.  Cherished father & grandfather of Dianne McAlpine (Keith) of Waterford, their daughter Katie;  and Greg McAlpine (Gail) of Waterford, their children David & Shannon.  Ken will be sadly missed by siblings Keith McAlpine (Charlotte);  Eleanor McAlpine, all of Burlington and Ian McAlpine (Hilery) of Walkerton.  Predeceased by his parents Douglas & Marjorie McAlpine (nee Hardstone).  Lovingly remembered by several nieces, nephews & extended family.  Predeceased by his parents Douglas & Marjorie McAlpine (nee Hardstone).  Due to the restrictions of the covid19 outbreak, a private family service will be held at Greenwood Cemetery, Waterford with Pastor Marty Brown officiating.  The JASON SMITH FUNERAL CHAPEL, 689 Norfolk St. North Simcoe N3Y 3R3 in care of arrangements.  Those wishing to donate in memory of Ken are asked to consider the Norfolk General Hospital Foundation or Camp Trillium Rainbow Lake.  Personal online condolences at www.smithfuneralchapel.com  (519) 426-0199
