LADDS, Phyliss (nee Massey) – passed away peacefully and gently at the Cedarwood Village Nursing Home, Simcoe on Monday, May 4th, 2020 in her 92nd year.  Beloved wife of the late Malcolm “Mickey” Ladds.  Loving mother of John Ladds (late Cathy) of Navan, Doris Leggett (Robert) of Ottawa and Barbara Fess (Kelly) of Port Dover.  Cherished grandmother of Bryan Ladds (Natalee);  Kristan Leggett; Joey Leggett; Nicole Phillips (Joe) and Lionel Fess. Loving Great Grandmother to Leland Leggett and Isabel Leggett. Cherished Aunt of Janis Ladds. Predeceased by her parents, the late Edward & Margaret Massey and by her sister Annie Day.  A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.  A special thank you to the wonderful caring staff at Cedarwood Village Nursing Home for all the love and care you gave our dear mother.  In keeping with Phyliss’s great love of animals and for her many years of volunteering with animals, those wishing to donate in memory of Phyliss are asked to consider the Simcoe and District Humane Society.
