THOMPSON, Ada Marie (nee Brown) - passed away at the Norfolk Hospital Nursing Home, Simcoe on Thursday, April 30th, 2020 in her 94th year.  Beloved wife of the late Robert Thompson (1997).  Loving mother of Robert Thompson Jr. (Susan) of Simcoe, Diane Thompson of Burlington, Margaret Brown (Dewy) of Waterford, Joanne Cobb (Rick) of Elliott Lake, David Thompson of Simcoe, James Thompson of Guelph, Judy Ciotti (Dan) of Port Dover and Sue Ellen Schneider (Mike) of Waterford.  Cherished grandmother & great grandmother to many grandchildren.  Predeceased by her son Richard, her daughter Linda and by her parents John & Margaret Brown.  Ada delivered newspapers in Port Dover for more than 30 years including the Reformer, Spectator & Expositor.  A private family interment of ashes will be held at a later date.  Arrangements entrusted to the JASON SMITH FUNERAL CHAPEL, 689 Norfolk St. North Simcoe.  Those wishing to donate in memory of Ada are asked to consider the Alzheimer’s Society of H-N, the Cancer Society or the Heart & Stroke Foundation.  Personal online condolences at www.smithfuneralchapel.com (519) 426-0199
