Death Notices

SMITH, Mark Douglas (1952 - 2020) - passed away at the Norfolk General Hospital, Simcoe on Thursday, April 30th, 2020 in his 68th year.  Beloved husband of Rose Smith (nee Wilson) of Simcoe.  Loving father & grandfather of Steve Smith (Cheryl White) of Stratford, children Tiffaney (Corey Burtling), Austin & Courtney Hunt; and Lori Silverthorn (Mike) of Delhi, children Dominick (Alexis Oliveira), Larkin & Memphis.  Cherished son of Myrtle (nee Voight) Smith (late Douglas) of Delhi.  Mark will be sadly missed by his sister Linda Kerry (Harold) of Delhi, their children Scott, Teresa and the late Lisa.  A private family interment of ashes will be held at a later date.  Arrangements entrusted to the JASON SMITH FUNERAL CHAPEL, 689 Norfolk St. North Simcoe N3Y 3R3.  Those wishing to donate in memory of Mark are asked to consider the Heart & Stroke Foundation.  Personal online condolences at www.smithfuneralchapel.com (519) 426-0199
