Death Notices

SHINE, Dalton Russell (1934 - 2020) - passed away at the Delhi Long Term Care Home on Sunday, April 12th, 2020 in his 86th year.  Dalt owned and operated the Dalton Shine Funeral Home and Shine Stationary in Delhi for over 20 years.  Dalton was a prolific hockey player in earlier years which earned him the nickname “Digger”.  Lovingly remembered by his siblings Isabelle Martin (late Bill) of Clinton and Clayton Shine of Monkton.  Predeceased by his brother Ken Shine.  Dalton will be sadly missed by several nieces, nephews & extended family.  Due to the restrictions of the covid19 outbreak, all funeral services will remain private and have been entrusted to the JASON SMITH FUNERAL CHAPEL, 689 Norfolk St. North Simcoe.  Interment:  Mitchell Cemetery.  Those wishing to donate in memory of Dalton are asked to consider a charity of choice.  Personal online condolences at www.smithfuneralchapel.com (519) 426-0199
