Death Notices

SLADE, Robert Charles (1931 - 2020) – surrounded by his loving family at his home in Delhi on Monday, March 9th, 2020 in his 89th year.  Beloved husband of the late Ferne (nee Robinson) Slade (1985) and Theresa (nee Botzang) Slade (2018).  Loving father of Tom Slade (Debra) of LaSalette, Bonnie Wilson (Don) of Brantford, Kathy Brooks (Dan) of Delhi, Robert Slade (Kelly) of Delhi and Laurie Cook (Richard) of Delhi.  Robert will be sadly missed by Theresa’s children Mike Ruppert (Cindy) and Carl Ruppert, all of Delhi.  Robert will be lovingly remembered by many grandchildren, many great grandchildren, several siblings and many extended family.  Friends are invited to share their memories of Robert with his family at the JASON SMITH FUNERAL CHAPEL, 689 Norfolk St. North Simcoe for visitation on Wednesday, March 11th, 2020 from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m.  A funeral service will be held in the chapel on Thursday morning at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Ron Mullin officiating.  Interment:  Oakwood Cemetery, Simcoe.  Those wishing to donate in memory of Robert are asked to consider RSD Canada (Reflex Sympathetic Dystrophy).  Personal online condolences at www.smithfuneralchapel.com  (519) 426-0199
