WILSON, Joseph John “Joe” (1945-2020) – surrounded by his loving family at the Norfolk General Hospital, Simcoe on Saturday, January 4th, 2020 in his 75th year.  Cherished husband of Patricia Wilson (nee Argent) of Simcoe.  Loving father and grandfather of Joe Wilson of Simcoe, his daughter Hailey;  and Rob Wilson (Rayna) of Whitby.  Lovingly remembered by his siblings Marilyn Lavery (late Ken) of Amherstburg and Jane Demeester (Mike) of St. George.  Joe will be sadly missed by several nieces, nephews, extended family and by his 4 legged friend “Charlie”.  Predeceased by his brother Ron Wilson (late Leona).  Joe was a past Master of the Norfolk Masonic Lodge #10, a member of the Norfolk Shrine Club, a former Cadet Leader and a retired employee of Ontario Power Generation for more than 44 years.  Friends are invited to share their memories of Joe with his family at the JASON SMITH FUNERAL CHAPEL, 689 Norfolk St. North Simcoe for visitation on Wednesday, January 8th, 2020 from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m.  A Masonic Service under the auspices of Norfolk Lodge #10 will proceed visitation on Wednesday evening at 5:45 p.m.  A funeral service will be held in the chapel on Thursday morning at 11:00 a.m. with Deacon Dave Callaghan officiating.  Interment of ashes at a later date.  Those wishing to donate in memory of Joe are asked to consider the Shriners Children’s Hospital or the Cancer Support & Resource Program.  Personal online condolences at www.smithfuneralchapel.com  (519) 426-0199
