PHILLIPS, Robert John “Bob” – surrounded by his family at the Norview Lodge, Simcoe on Tuesday, October 22nd, 2019 in his 86th year.  Beloved husband of Jean Phillips (nee Dixon) of Simcoe.  Loving father & grandfather of Arthur (Vicky) of Belle River, children Courtney & Art, the late Les (Karen) of Tecumseh, children Amanda & Sean, Elaine Oakes (Randy) of Brantford, children Peter, Patrick & Crystal; Shawn Haskett of Courtland, children Deidre & Mykaela; Shelley Dickerson (Vern) of Delhi, children Robert, Bobbi-Jo, David & Stacy; and Lisa Phillips-Howard (Brent) of Simcoe, children Tommy, Brennan, Joey, Chelsea, Brittany, Kayla & Avery.  Predeceased by an infant son in 1954.  Lovingly remembered by his siblings Ruth Greenslade (late Ivor) of Brantford, Susan Purdham (late George) of Brantford, Maryanne Parschauer (Bob) of Townsend and by the late Bill Phillips (Blanch) of Quebec.  Bob will be sadly missed by all of his great grandchildren and many nieces, nephews & extended family.  Friends are invited to share their memories of Bob with his family at the JASON SMITH FUNERAL CHAPEL, 689 Norfolk St. N. Simcoe for visitation on Thursday, October 24th, 2019 from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m.  A funeral service will be held in the chapel on Friday morning at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Ron Mullin officiating.  In memory of Bob, please wear your favourite sports jersey or casual wear.  Interment:  Oakwood Cemetery, Simcoe.  Those wishing to donate in memory of Bob are asked to consider the MS Society, Autism Canada or Norview Lodge (cheques payable to Norfolk County).  Personal online condolences at www.smithfuneralchapel.com  (519) 426-0199
