ROAKE, H. Donald - surrounded by his loving family at the Norfolk General Hospital, Simcoe on Friday, August 9th, 2019 in his 81st year.  Cherished husband of the late Marion Roake (2005) and Nancy Livingstone of Simcoe.  Loving father & grandfather of Dawn-Marie Roake (Sheldon Scrivener) and Todd Roake, his children Leah, Aislyn, Caley & Sebastien, all of Simcoe.  Will be greatly missed by his sister Marion Simmons (late Chuck) of Cambridge;  their children Chuck, Terry & Cindy-Lou.  Will also be remembered by siblings Doris Wilson & Doug Roake of Simcoe and by several nieces, nephews & extended family.  His presence and personality will be missed by all at Hillside Lake Park, Ayr.  Don worked for many years as a Purchasing Agent at Roulston’s Pharmacy.  He will be sadly missed by all who knew him.  Cremation has taken place and as per Don’s wishes there will be no funeral.  The family will have a celebration of Don’s life at a later date.  Arrangements entrusted to the JASON SMITH FUNERAL CHAPEL, 689 Norfolk St. North Simcoe.  Those wishing to donate in memory of Don are asked to consider the Brantford General Hospital Cancer Clinic.  Personal online condolences at www.smithfuneralchapel.com  (519) 426-0199
