CLOET, Joseph Camiel 1930 - 2019 – with heavy hearts we announce the peaceful passing of Joe at the L.H.S.C – Victoria Campus on Tuesday, July 9th, 2019 in his 90th year.  Beloved husband of Bertha Cloet (nee Godelie) of Simcoe.  Loving father of Carmen Slaney (Bryan), Bryon Cloet (Heather), all of Simcoe, Sabrina Young (Jim) of London, Brad Cloet of Simcoe, the late Blair (1987); and Daphne Cloet of Simcoe.  Cherished grandfather & great grandfather of Alisha Demeyere (Derek), children Abbey & Tyler;  Brett Slaney (Emily), children Clara & Audrey;  Jarrett Slaney;  Laura France (Greg), children Max & Emmeline;  Sarah Cleaver (Casey), children Jack, Isla & Emmett;  Jason Cloet (Jessica Farrell), children Ava, Baustyn & Lily;  Jodee Barley (Steve), children William & Jack;  Ashlee Young;  Cameron Young; Justin Cloet;  the late Tyler Cloet;  Jonathan Fabian (Zarah Lenders) & Brianne Fabian.  Joe will be remembered by his brother Roger Cloet (late Nora) of Goderich and by many nieces, nephews & extended family.  Predeceased by sisters Glenda Boerkamp & Mary Grace Brunt.  Joe was a retired tobacco farmer who enjoyed golfing and trips to Hawaii.  His family was his greatest pleasure.  Friends are invited to share their memories of Joe with his family at the JASON SMITH FUNERAL CHAPEL, 689 Norfolk St. North, Simcoe for visitation on Thursday, July 11th, 2019 from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m.  A funeral mass will be held from St. Mary’s Roman Catholic Church, 211 Union St. Simcoe on Friday morning at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Fr.
