BROUGHTON, David Wilfred – promoted to the loving arms of his Lord & Saviour at the St. Joseph’s Hospital, Hamilton on Sunday, March 17th, 2019 in his 76th year.  Beloved husband of Wanda Broughton (nee Clarkson) of Simcoe.  Loving father & grandfather of Tim Broughton of Simcoe, his sons Josh & Drew;  and Laurie Banman (Calvin) of Cambridge, their daughter Madeliene.  Lovingly remembered by his siblings Doreen Roberts (late Art) of Simcoe, Donna Schriver (Maynard) of Barry’s Bay, Ken Broughton (Linda) of Bancroft, Betty Lamoureux (Francois) of Brantford and Ron Broughton (Joy) of Waterford.  Dave will sadly missed by many nieces, nephews & extended family.  Predeceased by his parents, Wilfred (2018) & Edna (2004) Broughton.  Friends are invited to share their memories of Dave with his family at the JASON SMITH FUNERAL CHAPEL, 689 Norfolk St. North Simcoe for visitation on Wednesday, March 20th, 2019 from 7:00 – 9:00 p.m.  Dave’s home going service will be held at Bethel Baptist Church, 4059 Hwy #3 East  Simcoe on Thursday morning at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Al Feere officiating.  Interment:  Greenwood Cemetery, Waterford.  Those wishing to donate in memory of Dave are asked to consider Bethel Baptist Church, Simcoe.  Personal online condolences at www.smithfuneralchapel.com  (519) 426-0199
