Armeline LOWE
Saturday March 09, 2019

LOWE, Marie Yvette “Armeline” (nee Miller) 1925 - 2019 – it is with great sadness that Armeline’s family announces her sudden passing on Saturday, March 9th, 2019 in her 95th year.  Armeline, fondly known as Lynn among her friends, has now joined the love of her life, Merrill Lowe.  She was known to have said that her proudest accomplishment was her family.  She was the proud mother & grandmother of Norman Lowe (Nancy) of Brantford, children Tamara (Trevor) & Kevin (Aimee); Linda Lowe of Montreal, sons Andre (Veronique) & Eric (Sandra); Ken Lowe (Eiko) of Brantford, daughters Hanna & Lisa; and Loraine Goodlet (Bob) of Pinegrove, daughters Laura (Ryan) & Kayla (RJ).  She will be lovingly remembered by her nieces Yvette & Micheline.  Predeceased by her sisters Germaine, Yvette, Irene, her twin Jacqueline and brother Noel.  Armeline was born in Quebec City, raised her children in Brossard, Quebec and retired to Simcoe in 1984.  Armeline was a strong, vibrant lady who loved her family.  She always said she was the lucky one to have us as a family, however we always told her, we were the lucky ones to have her as our mother & grandmother.  At the age of 94, dancing & overjoyed to be a part of Kayla’s (her granddaughter’s) wedding party, a sudden stroke incapacitated her 8 days before this momentous event.  When unable to attend the wedding, the family dawned their dresses & brought the wedding to her while lying in her hospital bed.  While gone from us now, her spirit lives on forever.  Our mother was the greatest gift to us. Patient and kind, she loved unconditionally.  She was all we ever hoped to be.  May she rest in peace.  Friends are invited to share their memories of Armeline with her family at the JASON SMITH FUNERAL CHAPEL, 689 Norfolk St. N. Simcoe for visitation on Monday, March 11th, 2019 from 9:30 – 10:45 a.m.  A graveside service will follow at Oakwood Cemetery on Tuesday morning at 10:00 a.m. with Pastor Ron Mullin officiating.  Those wishing to donate in memory of Armeline are asked to consider the Heart & Stroke Foundation.  Personal online condolences at www.smithfuneralchapel.com  (519) 426-0199
